THE MOUNT FOSTER TRAILS ARE UNDERGOING IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENTS FOR 2021
This site is precious and fragile. Following its acquisition, Appalachian Corridor committed to making it accessible to the community, with the help of the municipalities of Bolton-Ouest, Saint-Étienne-de-Bolton, as well as the collaboration of the fondation de la Faune du Québec.
We are currently working hard to do so and are committed to doing things right. As such, facilities must be sustainable and safe. It is also our duty to preserve the sensitive natural environment and enhance the area by making it accessible to the population.
At the present time, the trail network is being completely re-evaluated as of the summer of 2021. For your safety, the Scouts’ Tower has been inspected and updated to ensure it is compliant with safety standards for users.
Planning and work on the trails begun in the summer of 2020. The team continues to work very hard to optimize this invaluable site and is doing its best to optimize the time leading up to its reopening.
In the meantime, we ask that you respect this temporary closure period, keeping in mind that the official reopening is planned for the end of the summer 2021. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
